LCDs Enjoy Flexible Power-Up Sequencing
For many systems, liquid-crystal displays (LCDs) are a large part of the bill of materials (BOM). In some cases, more than 80% of the entire system cost is that of the LCD panel (e.g., high-definition televisions or HDTVs).
