[New Products] J2EE/Lotus Domino Applications Go Mobile Staff March 2003
Waplane is a mobilizing solution that was developed by Sofor Oy. It mobilizes any J2EE (WebSphere) or Lotus Domino application, such as Customer Relations Management (CRM), Enter-prise Resource Planning (ERP), or Field Sales Automation (FSA) information systems, e-mail, and calendar. It also supports most terminal types on the market, such as GPRS and WAP phones, PDAs, iMode devices, communicators, PCs, and Macs. A new and improved version of Waplane now flaunts an impressive array of features for mobilizing any J2EE and IBM Lotus Domino information system. It also offers tools to enable wireless access to relational databases, such as IBM's DB2 or Oracle. The new version of Waplane provides even more secure, faster, and reliable mobile access to company directories, e-mail, calendar, and other applications. The installation of the software solution even remains quick and inexpensive, because no changes to the information systems are needed. Waplane offers users a number of key benefits. Security is guaranteed, for example, due to the fact that the information is always accessed online. Nothing is saved in the device. Information can even be accessed from Web kiosks. Based on customer experience, Sofor Oy has successfully demonstrated that Waplane provides a better return on investment (ROI) for existing applications. In part, this result stems from the fact that it demonstrates an online usage possibility of 24/7. The Waplane software solution is now available. Contact the company directly for specific pricing information. Sofor Oy |
