UWB is that weird and wacky wireless technology that spreads the signal over at least 500 MHz of bandwidth in the 3.1- to 10.6-GHz range for accomplishing blazing data rates over short ranges (<10 meters or so). No collective figures seem to be available. Market studies have future estimates and some limited past data but nothing current. It is always tough to pinpoint a moving target.
